Shoebox Project

Shoebox Project

It takes just three easy steps to put a smile on the face of struggling people and families.

What is the SHOEBOX PROJECT?

The United Way NZ Shoebox Project is giving dignity and creating happy opportunities for our ever increasing population of struggling, vulnerable and less fortunate in our communities.
No one should have to face a crisis alone, struggling to provide the basics for their children to attend school, or those living on the streets without daily items we take for granted, or families struggling to make their limited income stretch even further at Christmas.
At United Way NZ we believe everyone deserves the most basic items in life and helping our most vulnerable neighbours, in turn, helps us all succeed as a community.

* Clearly mark with a removeable tag on the outside of the shoebox in which project it belongs
* Create competitions between work teams to create and fill the best shoebox
* Host a Shoebox party and invite friends, colleagues, family or neighbors to decorate and fill Shoeboxes together.
