Shoebox Project

Shoebox Project

It takes just three easy steps to put a smile on the face of struggling people and families.

What is the SHOEBOX PROJECT?

In 2006, United Way of Great Atlanta created a solution to the ever increasing need of giving dignity back to the less fortunate, those that have lost their jobs, their homes, who have nowhere else to go and end up living on the streets. No one should have to face a crisis alone. Helping our most vulnerable neighbors, in turn, helps us all succeed as a community. They believed that everyone deserved the basic items in life! The Shoebox Project is now being used by all United Way’s to target their communities most pressing needs.
